Ireland

THE EXCHANGE
Two weeks ago, on the 20th of March, we went to Mullingar, a little town in Ireland. Part of the group of EUNI did an exchange with Irish students of Wilson's Hospital School. This school is a boarding one, but not all of the students are boarders. For example, our exchange partners were not, but the ones who live far away from the school were.

THE FIRST DAY
At 8:15 we all met in the universities to take the bus to go to Biarritz, and there take the plane. We took off at 11:30 and we arrived to Ireland airport at 1:30 in the evening. There was a curious bus waiting for us, it was quite small and it was not comfortable at all.

We needed an hour to arrive to the school, and some of us slept.

When we arrived there all of our exchange partners were waiting to receive us. After we met them, all of us went to the centre of Mullingar to go shopping in a small shopping centre and to know more about us. To finish the day, we went to the school to have dinner and go home.

THE SECOND DAY
After meeting the family and having breakfast we went to the school at 8:50. Until 9 o'clock all the students met in a big room and prayed. After that, they showed us a very typical Irish dance. That was really funny, and later we went out to play the most popular sport in Ireland, hurley. After that, the day became quite boring because we had some lessons about gender & sex and the situations in different countries.
The best thing of the day was the night, we went bowling. All of us had a really good time.

THE THIRD DAY
This was a really freezing day. We went to a museum about history in Dublin. It was really boring and Crisiouwi got lost. Crisi was quite frightened but Iowi was brave so she made Crisi keep calm and followed the others.

After visiting the museum, we went to the Mc'Donalds to have lunch and buy some souvenirs. We met the others and caught the bus to go back to the school.

THE FOURTH DAY
All of us woke up at the time we wanted and got ready to go to the train station to catch the train for Dublin. We stayed a whole hour in the train and we finally arrived. We had a walk around the streets and later, we went shopping to Penneys.

We had lunch at the Burger King and after having lunch, we went to buy souvenirs for our families and friends. But before that, we went to a shop we loved called Abercrombie where there were a lot of models and we had the opportunity to take a photo with them.

Finally, we caught the train to go back home at 6 o'clock in the afternoon.

THE FIFTH DAY
At the morning all of us stayed at our own home with the family and at the afternoon we met in a shopping centre and we stayed there until we had to go to the cinema. There, we watched a comedy called Identity Thief and we had a lot of fun.

When the movie finished we all went home to pack our things. So that, we would be ready for the next day to leave home.

THE LAST DAY
We were really sad because we had to leave Ireland. We had breakfast at home and we also had lunch there. After that, we all met in the school and we said good bye to everyone. We went by bus to the airport and took the plane to Biarritz. There was a bus waiting for us and it took us to San Sebastian, to the Sicology University. We arrived at 11:30 at night.

Oialume's night fever

The night of the 25 of December we went to a party in Astigarraga, near Hernani. The place where the party was is called Oialume, a Cider House. It was 25 so they did a raffle of Christmas baskets. While they were giving the baskets,  they put a very typical American Christmas song, "All I want for Christmas is you".

Everybody knows that song and like we were quite drunk, we motivated a lot, a lot, a lot... It was a madness everybody singing, dancing and enjoying themselves. They put it twice, so that was even crazier. Imagine all the people living the night like it was the last one.

The first day

Like we have spent a lot of time travelling, we are going to spend the whole day in the hotel sleeping. Then, we'll have a massage in the free spa, which includes the hotel's price. If we want, we can also have a thermal bath in the sauna with hidromassage and chocotherapy. Later, we are going to the buffet to have dinner.

The second day

Today, we are having a sightseeing day. We are going to buy a ticket to go around Edinburgh in a drop on drop off system to Edinburgh Old Town and New Town that leaves from the Waverley Bridge. It's a bit expensive but we can afford it and in this way, we can see and take pictures of all the city in one day.

Finally, when we get tired of this trip, we'll go to a typical pub to have a drink and then, to the hotel to have dinner.
